Dear Deer is situated by Jezerní stream in Železná Ruda, close to the town center, Šumava cycle routes and ski slopes at Špičák as well as Germany's Great Arber (Großer Arber). Here are a few of our favourite excursion tips.

Skiing

From the terrace, besides the sound of the stream, you can see Šumava's largest ski resort – Špičák. Just an 11-minute drive away lies the largest ski resort on the German side of the mountains, Great Arber (Großer Arber).
